The 6mm the wear layer is the same as in a traditional solid tongue and grooved Oak plank.

Plywood is the most stable wood product available due to the cross grain lamination of its layers.

Most other engineered floors on the market have all boards of the same width and one length giving a false modular manufactured appearance.
