We now finish probably 90% of our floors with Treatex Oil. It is a modified Hardwax Oil. It is available in Matt, Satin and Gloss finish. It is manufactured on a base of linseed oil, sunflower oil, jojoba oil and alkyd resin modified with natural oil. It contains beeswax, carnauba wax, and the siccatives cobalt and zirconium. It is suitable for both high traffic areas and normal domestic areas. It complies with regulation DIN 68861-1B: which means it is resistant to substances such as wine, coffee, fizzy drinks, tea, beer, sweat and saliva proof. 

In our opinion the Hardwax oils are very easy to maintain. All you need is to use Treatex Floor Care that you add to water and wash the floor. Every time you wash the floor you add protection. This oil also has the advantage that you can add a hardener. This will then give the surface a very hard finish. Equilivant to most lacquers and in most cases harder.
